Bio

I will always be a California girl at heart, although I relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2016. I love to be outside, whether I'm out camping, enjoying the beach, running, or hiking in the wilderness. I also breathe music and poetry, and am a hobbyist musician, writer, and content creator.

I created a character called “Pinkie Ukulele” who educates children while celebrating music and individuality. The goal is to write music for this channel that is catchy—but not obnoxious—and to bring families joy.

I studied Graphic Design at the Art Institute in Orange County, California, and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in 2009. Outside of school, I began pursuing several companies and freelance projects. For 7 years, I was a producer of direct mail and other print collateral for Ideal Direct Ad Group, and I maintain a remote independent contract relationship with them. One of the other fulfilling positions I've held has been the graphic designer at the East Bay Express, a weekly newspaper in Oakland, CA that promotes local community and independently-owned businesses. Currently, I am a quality control manager at a jewelry studio for a company that empowers women, so I have experienced both the management and production ends of being in a team environment.

Graphic design and marketing present the challenge of combining creative vision with client vision, a balancing act that is polished with experience. We live in a highly competitive market and creating a lasting visual impact is essential. My design aesthetic is fresh and vibrant. I love colors and the influence they can have. In addition to my solid ten+ years of experience in the industry, I'm fun to work with and have a strong work ethic. I hope to collaborate with you soon!
